BURY aim to make up for the disappointment of last week's FA Cup defeat by Rochdale by continuing their climb up the third division table.

However, Andy Preece faces a selection headache for the trip to Bristol Rovers.

Harpal Singh (shoulder), Paul O'Shaughnessy (suspension) plus Terry Dunfield and Justin Thompson (international calls) are definitely missing, while Danny Swailes (foot) and Gareth Seddon (illness) are doubtful.

"The position we're in we can't afford so many players to be missing," says Preece.

Preece would loved to have taken a full strength squad to the Memorial Ground to pile on the pressure for Rovers boss Ray Graydon.

The West Country side haven't scored in their last three games and haven't won in six outings.

"It's still a difficult place to go even though they are on a dodgy run," says Preece. We have got to try and take advantage."
