COLIN Cramb settled one score against Bournemouth last Saturday and tonight (Tueday) at Gigg Lane he has the chance to silence a few more critics.

As a former Bristol City favourite the Bury striker expects plenty of stick from the fans of arch rivals Bristol Rovers."I've read a couple of things on the Internet and I've even had a nasty letter sent to me," reveals Cramb, scorer of the winning goal against Bournemouth.

"I loved my time at City and nothing would give me greater satisfaction than to get a couple of goals against Rovers."

Unlike the Cherries, Ray Graydon's team is fighting for survival at the wrong end of division three. As a result Shakers chief Andy Preece doesn't believe this evening's game will be any easier than the 2-1 success over Bournemouth.

But he could be planning a surprise for the 'Gasheads' and the Bury fans.

"There is a possibility we may get someone in for the next game," said Preece and he isn't talking about the return of Danny Swailes from suspension.

"We have to look and strengthen the squad and to go for it."

Former City skipper Andy Morrison and teenage striker Chris Porter are possibilities though it's rumoured Bury have been looking at several of Kevin Keegan's promising reserve players.

"Things must be right financially and they must be the right sort of players," adds Preece who could bring back Swailes for Colin Woodthorpe.
