THERE was no happy return for Colin Cramb as Bury's third division promotion hopes were hit by defeat at play off contenders Kidderminster.

The former Crewe forward went straight into the side after signing a one month contract on Friday to renew his partnership with skipper Jon Newby after an eighteen month absence.

However, the new boy and his captain both drew a blank as Andy Preece's team suffered their second 3-2 defeat in five days.

Kidderminster, who took a point at Gigg Lane over Christmas, appeared to have the points wrapped up when a double from Andy Bishop and Sean Parrish's 21st minute opener gave them a three nil lead.

However, Bury hit back through substitute Ian Lawson and veteran defender Steve Redmond pulling two goals back. Unfortunately for the visitors they couldn't complete their comeback with a last gasp equaliser.
