Bury

Preview: Barnet v Bury

BURY defender Paul Scott is happy with what his team have accomplished so far this season ahead of their trip to Barnet.

"After the start we had, we would have taken 33 points by Christmas," said Scott, one of Bury's most consistent performers this season.

"We weren't very good for the first four games, but since then we've turned it around and it's now a good first half of the season."

The form of 14-goal Andy Bishop has been a major plus and he has already attracted the attention of a number of Championship clubs.

Bury have only ever lost once against Barnet with the last five meetings all ending in draws.

But Paul Fairclough's side are in good form, having won their last three games.

Among the Barnet squad is Stockport-born former Oldham and Bolton defender, Paul Warhurst.

Last season: Barnet 1 Bury 1

Key opponent: Adam Birchall - On loan forward has fitted in well

Prediction: Barnet 1 Bury 1 - Should be a tight game and Bury will be looking for a reaction following the FA Cup disappointment
