STRIKER Glynn Hurst has revealed he has discovered a hunger to help Bury climb up the League Two table.
The Shrewsbury Town hitman has netted six times in five outings this term for the Shakers, helping him become a firm favourite with the Gigg Lane faithful.
And having signed a new loan deal which will keep him at the club until late December, the South African-born striker has no fears that more goals are around the corner.
"I've got a hunger and an appetite to score goals and, that's what I'm good at," said Hurst.
"I've always had that hunger and I just want to keep that for as long as possible.
"The six goals in five games came at a good time for me and my record speaks for itself."
Hurst is looking to keep his impressive scoring run going as Chris Casper's side visit Notts County tomorrow, boosted by Bury's five-game unbeaten run.
The former Stockport player is in a confident mood and praised Casper and the club's fans for all the support he has received in helping him secure a new deal.
"It's been a funny three years for me, since I left Chesterfield," added Hurst. "I've not felt appreciated or wanted a lot of the time.
"But in the last month at Bury, it's re-ignited a lot of feelings in me and the fans have really taken to me and I appreciate that.
Casper has no new injury worries, although goalkeeper Alan Fettis (broken arm) remains a month away from a return, while defender Chris Brass (ankle) returned to training this week after getting injured against Hereford United.
