SHREWSBURY striker Glynn Hurst has extended his loan spell with Bury until late December after his existing contract had ended on Monday.

The news was a great boost to manager Chris Casper, who has been delighted with Hurst's record of six goals in the last five games.

"It's important now that we start to look up the table," said Casper.

"We've won the last three but I'm a little disappointed because we should have won the games with Barnet and Accrington, too, to make it five out of five.

"We're progressing and it all bodes well for the future but now is the time to keep working hard to keep our run going."

How high up the league do you think Bury can go? Havey our say.
