GLYNN Hurst marked the final appearance of his loan spell at Bury with his sixth goal in five games.
It contributed to Bury's first Football League victory over Boston at the ninth attempt.
Hurst appears keen to stay though the Shakers will have to pay Shrewsbury a fee for the 30-year-old.
"It all depends on what Shrewsbury want to do," said Hurst after Bury's third successive victory. "Other clubs are interested in me but other clubs don't interest me. I am not chasing money, that's what it's not about," added the former Stockport County striker who has become a favourite at Gigg Lane.
Safe
Hurst struck after 70 minutes and two minutes later goal provider Marc Pugh appeared to have made the game safe.
But substitute Paul Tait replied almost immediately, leaving Bury with 15 minutes of awkward defending to negotiate.
"I think we deserved the win," said manager Chris Casper.
"We set ourselves a short-term goal of getting six points from our last two matches.
"We've done that to push up the league. Now we set ourselves other short-term goals - to get into the top 10 and then into the top seven because that's where we want to be."
