MANCHESTER United reserve Lee Crockett has joined Bury on loan.

The Peterborough-born keeper, who yesterday celebrated his 20th birthday, signed trainee forms with the Reds in 2004 and is now in his third year as an Academy scholar.

A broken collarbone hindered his start to last season, limiting him to just six appearances for the under-18s as Ron-Robert Zieler was used for the majority of the matches.

But Bury have agreed to take Crockett on work experience and will play him in their reserve team.
