Andy Bishop scored his third of the season after a barren spell, while loan striker Glynn Hurst.
But despite twice having taken the lead, the Shakers stuttered in their search to snatch all three points.
Former Liverpool schoolboy Gary Roberts cancelled out Bishop's seventh-minute opener, only for Hurst to head past Stanley keeper Ian Dunbavin in the 36th minute. However, the joy was short-lived when, just a minute later, Romauld Boco caught Casper's side sleeping and drifted in to slot an equaliser under Kasper Schmeichel.
Heads didn't go down and the home side won have won it if it had not been for two magnificent saves from Dunbavin.
Bishop was unable to beat Dunbavin from close range, and the keeper then denied Richie Baker, who had headed a Hurst cross goalwards.
Stanley could have pinched victory late on, but Schmeichel made a wonderful save to deny Ian Craney. Tweet

all in all a decent game. From a Bury point of view, oppostion keeper clearly and conciously brought Andy Bishop down (penalty and red card) - result - goal kick, bizarre. The keeper has kept the ball out with his legs 3 times and not known anything about any of them. In most games he would have been happy with one of these 'saves', two is very very lucky, three shows how luck isnt with you when you're at the bottom of the league. So in last two games - penalty against us given by only person in the ground who saw it as a penalty and no penalty awarded by only person in the ground to not see it. and we moan at referees.....
