JON-PAUL Pittman would love to stay at Bury.

The 19-year-old Nottingham Forest striker has joined the Shakers on a one-month deal and scored in the defeat by Chester.

"I'm not playing regular football at Forest, so if we could extend my loan deal after my time's up, then that would be great," he said.

"It's good to be out on loan. I played four pre- season games for Forest, but it's going to be difficult getting into the first team.

"I've just got to perform as well as I can because you never know who's watching. I'm here at Bury to enjoy myself and do the best I can for the team."

American-born Pittman has every faith that Chris Casper's men can find some form after a dismal start to the new League Two campaign.
