BURY veterans Alan Fettis and Colin Woodthorpe will be fit for Saturday's first ever visit to Milton Keynes despite missing the Shakers' final friendly.

The injured keeper and defender sat out a 1-0 defeat at Conference side Southport.

Substitute Robbie Booth scored the only goal six minutes from time.

There were no places in the Bury line-up for trialists Dave Beresford and David Eyres, who won't be joining Chris Casper's squad.

Casper said: "I could not promise them anything and in fairness I think they were looking to go elsewhere anyway."
