BURY'S assistant manager Ian Miller has left Gigg Lane to take up the same job at Leicester City.

It was a surprise departure by Miller, who joined the Shakers in December 2005 as assistant to Chris Casper.

Meanwhile, Bury have signed 24-year-old midfielder Marc Goodfellow, who was released by Grimsby at the end of last season.
