BURY could be set to make a move for one of Burscough's FA Cup stars.

Liam Blakeman was a key part of the Burscough midfield as the non-league outfit knocked Gillingham out of the first round.

Now Bury boss Chris Casper has invited the player to train with the Shakers for a week.

"We are having a look at him in training, and at this moment in time I cannot say if it will go any further," he told Bury's official website.
