BURY have terminated the contract of manager Graham Barrow after a poor start to the season.

The 51-year-old, who has also had spells in charge of Wigan, Rochdale and Chester, took over at Gigg Lane from Andy Preece has dealt with serious financial restrictions during his reign, came under increasing pressure from supporters.

Ray Mathias, who had been assisting Barrow, has also left the club and reserve team coach Chris Casper has taken control of the first team.
