BURY are taking nothing for granted in tomorrow's Coca-Cola League opener at Whaddon Road, despite their win over UEFA Cup hopefuls Bolton on Monday night.

Wanderers had the class, but Cheltenham have a work ethic second to none in League Two. The Shakers can save the party pieces for another day.

"Their manager John Ward is from the Graham Taylor school of coaching," said manager Graham Barrow.

"So we know we must be competitive. That's why the friendly at Northwich had more relevance than the games with Preston, Bradford or Bolton.

"I was a little unhappy with a few things against Bolton, and, hopefully, we've put them right."

Bury produced one of their best performances of the campaign to defeat the Robins 3-1 at Gigg Lane last April, with Colin Kazim-Richards scoring the goal of the season.

Kazim-Richards is now with Brighton, but Allan Smart, Tom Youngs and Stuart Barlow have arrived to score goals.

Smart and Youngs are fit after pre-season knocks, with only Jon Newby - recovering from knee surgery - certain to miss tomorrow's game.

LAST SEASON: Cheltenham 0 Bury 1.

KEY OPPONENT: Damian Francis - finished last season with a flourish.

PREDICTION: Cheltenham 1 Bury 1.
