WYCOMBE returned to the field guns blazing with a shot from Claridge on 52 minutes being stopped by a spectacular tackle from Scott.

Simon Whaley was unlucky not to get a second on 68 minutes as his cross rolled in front of the Wycombe net before being cleared.

Nathan Tyson somehow managed to miss an open net on 74 minutes after a header from Claridge wasn't cleared by Bury. A range effort from Burnell moments later produced a diving save from Garner to keep Bury in the game.
