Four key players returned to full training yesterday and could feature in Barrow's team for Saturday.
Top scorers Chris Porter and Dwayne Mattis have been sidelined by knee ligament injuries for more than month while Paul Scott has been out with a broken toe. Colin Woodthorpe has missed the last two games with a back problem.
And there is more good news with the Football Association's decision to award Bury another representative game.
Gigg Lane is already due to host England's UEFA Under-19 Championship game against Sweden on Easter Monday, March 28. Now they will also stage Sweden's other group match with Denmark 48 hours later. Both matches kick-off at 7.30pm.
On the downside, however, vandals ploughed up the club's Goshen training ground yesterday, forcing the players to seek another venue.
