BURY boss Graham Barrow is demanding an improved show at Southend after the midweek defeat at Rushden and Diamonds.

Dave Challinor is available for tomorrow's trip to Roots Hall despite his fifth yellow card of the season at Rushden on Tuesday - he will serve his one game suspension against Cambridge at Gigg Lane next Saturday.

Colin Woodthorpe is again likely to be absent after missing the 3-0 defeat at Nene Park because of a back injury, while Simon Whaley may get his chance in midfield.

"We've slipped into a crisis and have got to do something about it," said Barrow.
