Bury v Brentford: Preview

Bury are hoping for a bumper crowd as they bid to get back on track at home to Brentford tomorrow.

The club have reduced all ticket prices to £5 for the Gigg Lane clash as the Shakers look to bounce back following their 4-1 thumping at Colchester last Saturday.

The Bees are in sixth place – five points ahead of the Shakers – but they have only lost one of their nine League One games on their travels this season.

Defender Joe Skarz admitted: “Brentford are doing really well away from home so they’ll be a tough team to play against.

“But we have been working hard all week after the Colchester game because we want to put it right.

“You can’t reflect on games for too long because you’ve got another in a few days. Hopefully it was a minor blip and we will come out the other side.

“There’s a few young lads in the team still learning their trade so the more experienced lads have helped them and, come tomorrow, hope-fully we’ll get three points.”

Eight-goal hitman Andy Bishop will be looking to get his scoring boots back on after four games without a goal. Meanwhile, midfielder Shane Byrne faces a late fitness test. Mark Hughes is available against after a three-game ban following his sending off against Crawley.

Key opponent: Gary Alexander - He has a knack of slipping through the defence

Prediction: Bury 1 Brentford 1
