BURY manager Graham Barrow is unlikely to make many changes for tonight's League Two game at third-from-bottom Rushden and Diamonds - despite the shoddy display in Saturday's 2-0 home defeat against Mansfield.

Defender Colin Woodthorpe is doubtful with a back problem and Jon Cartledge could deputise, while top scorers Chris Porter and Dwayne Mattis are still out through injury.

Victory for the Shakers would take them 12 points clear of their Northamptonshire hosts.

"It's a massive game, because Rushden are in and around us," said Barrow.

Gigg Lane will host the England international against Sweden in the UEFA Under-19 Championship elite round group one on March 28.

Meanwhile, Bury have launched an investigation into a coin-throwing incident at last Saturday's game against Mansfield.

A steward was struck and injured, while in a separate incident, vandals damaged toilets, causing flooding in the family stand.
