The Shakers are still second in League Two despite home losses against Torquay and Cheltenham. They travel to managerless Port Vale for the 1pm Saturday kick-offand Knill is hoping his side’s impressive away form will see a return to winning ways.
Knill, whose side boast the best away record in League Two with 10 wins, said: “I feel like we played pretty well in those two defeats so we won’t be setting ourselves up very differently.
“We’ve been excellent away from home this season so it’s a good opportunity for us.
“We’ve got some really good attacking players and teams have a tendency to open up more at home which we’ve exploited well.
“If you look at the table we’ve scored far more goals away from home than any other side and in some ways I think playing away plays to our strengths.”
Bury will again be without defender Efe Sodje (broken arm) but Phil Picken is available for selection after suspension. Andy Bishop has been ruled out for the season after undergoing more knee surgery.
