The skipper is fit again after a knee injury and may replace Matt Barrass, who not only conceded a penalty at the Sixfields Stadium, but also fluffed a clearance which led to Northampton's winning goal.
Jon Newby and Simon Whaley, who proved lively substitutes, may also get a chance to boost the Shakers' play-off push.
Bury kick off in seventh place and boss Graham Barrow is demanding a big effort during the rest of December to keep them in with a promotion chance.
"It's good we've got the Wycombe match so soon to get the FA Cup defeat out of our system," he said.
