BURY host Steve Cotterill's unbeaten Burnley this evening in the Carling Cup without defender Colin Woodthorpe.

The experienced centre-back was given his marching orders on Saturday for the second time in as many weeks.

Fellow defender Danny Swailes is also absent with a torn thigh muscle, but is expected to return in time for the Shakers' visit to Rochdale on Saturday.
