BURY'S pre-season game with Leeds United at Gigg Lane on July 28 has been called off.

Leeds informed the Shakers they would be sending a mixture of reserve and youth players.

But the club decided to cancel the fixture because of the cost of policing the ground.

Bury's most high profile pre-season games are at home to Manchester City on July 21 and to Wigan on July 24. Tweet
