ANDY Preece is poised to pledge his future to Carlisle United - if he doesn't get the vacant manager's job at Blackpool.

Former Bury boss Preece has been interviewed for Steve McMahon's old post at Bloomfield Road.

However, having left Bury last season he is enjoying life in Cumbria and is keen to help secure an instant return to league football for the club.
