Bury manager Graham Barrow expects to tie up new deals for Matt Barrass and Colin Woodthorpe within the next week.
Defender Barras and midfielder Woodthorpe are the only members of the squad yet to sign new contracts at Gigg Lane.
"Talks went well and I don't think there will be any problems," Barrow said. "I expect them to be signed up by next week.
"The only thing in our favour is that players want to get things sorted out sooner these days - they used to drag it out a bit.
"The clubs try to take the upper hand and players are realising that they can't demand silly wages any more. Common sense had to come back into the game."
