Utility-man Lee Unsworth has put pen to paper on a new 12-month contract with Bury.

The 31-year-old follows in the footsteps of Simon Whaley, David Flitcroft, John Cartledge, Steve Maden and Daniel Douglas-Prince in agreeing new terms at Gigg Lane.

"It's good to get Lee signed on," said manager Graham Barrow. "I've had a look at the players that are available and I couldn't get a better player in terms of value for money.

"With regards the job he does and the wages he is on, Lee is a very valuable player for us."
