Bury

Preview: Luton v Bury

BRIAN Barry-Murphy is hopeful Bury can cement their place in League Two's top three with a win at lowly Luton.

The Irish midfielder has endured some difficult times since signing from Sheffield Wednesday in 2004 but believes this could be Bury's year.

"A few lads are saying 'where are we?' after each game," he said. "It doesn't concern me but it's nice to be up there.

"After the two seasons where we battled against relegation, I think we've shown this year we can be a top side in this division."

After a rocky Christmas period, the Shakers have regained their form in the New Year with three wins and a draw from their last four games.

They have been boosted by a return to form from striker Andy Morrell, who has scored two in two after previously enduring a four-month goal drought.

Luton league form: WDLDD

Bury league form: LWDWW

Key opponent: Kevin Gallen - experienced striker who knows where the goal is

Prediction: Luton 0 Bury 1 - if the Shakers can maintain their defensive concentration, they should be able to nick the win
