A defender with Premier League experience after his time with Sheffield Wednesday in the top-flight, Haslam signed for the Shakers in 2007. After making over 100 appearances for Wednesday, Haslam joined Halifax in 2004 and was a key member of the first-team set-up at The Shay. The lure of League football was too much for Haslam to resist when Alan Knill came calling, and the Sheffield-born right-back has proved to be a classy acquisition. Haslam captained an England U19 in the mid-1990s that contained the likes of Michael Owen and Wes Brown.
