Bury

Preview: Bury v Gillingham

ALAN Knill admits Bury are on a revenge mission as Gillingham make a quick return to Gigg Lane.

Gillingham knocked the Shakers out of the FA Cup a fortnight ago and Knill's men are now looking to halt a run of five straight home defeats after losing to Grimsby last week.

"We've got something to prove and I've used the word `revenge'. It has to be about that," he said. "I think every time you lose you should take it personally. At the moment, we're giving away goals too easily and, if you don't concede, you'll pick up a point even if you don't score.

"Every striker has a barren spell but you don't want all three having one at the same time."

Knill is poised to bring Ben Futcher back into his defence and recall top scorer Andy Bishop.

Bury league form: LLWLL

Gillingham league form: DWLWW

Key opponent: Andy Barcham - scored when the sides met a fortnight ago

Prediction: Bury 1 Gillingham 1 - Bury's home form has been woeful but they can't lose every week - Gills are playing well so a point would stop the rot for the Shakers
