ALAN Knill is confident Bury will bounce back from their slump when they visit Notts County.

The Shakers have slipped to ninth in the table after Tuesday's 1-0 setback at Bradford left them with four defeats from their last five.

"At the start of the season everything's going for you, and all of a sudden it's not," said Knill.

"That's football, it's such a fine line. You just have to pick yourself up because it's what you do about it.

"It is a blip but as a manager you look for certain things and the effort and commitment is there.

"I have belief in myself and the players, and I'm sure we'll turn it around because we've got some strong characters here."

Knill has a fully-fit squad to choose from, with Ryan Cresswell hopeful of keeping his place in defence ahead of Ben Futcher.
