MANAGER Alan Knill is determined that his Bury side will take tonight's Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Stockport seriously.
The Shakers are unbeaten in League Two and will be keen to test themselves against League One opposition.
They will also be eager to bounce back from Saturday's disappointing performance against Aldershot, where they let a three goal lead slip and had to settle for a point.
Knill said: "This competition provides the opportunity for both sets of players to play at Wembley, and for the clubs a large pay day if you can make it to the final.
"There has always been a lot of talk about this competition but for the teams at this level the opportunities to play at Wembley are very limited so it has to be taken seriously."
Will Bury beat Stockport? Have your say.
