Rene Howe gave the visitors a 14th-minute lead but Bury struck back through Paul Scott and a David Artell own goal to make it three wins out of three.
Morecambe had the better of the opening stages, with Howe turning Neil Wainwright's cross past Wayne Brown for the opener.
Bury hit back with Scott rising highest to head home from Brian Barry-Murphy's inswinging corner before Matt Blinkhorn headed wide for Morecambe.
But the Shakers took the lead on the half-hour mark when visiting defender Artell inadvertently turned Elliott Bennett's low cross past his own keeper after the on-loan Wolves winger had burst down the right wing.
Morecambe responded positively as Wayne Curtis flashed a shot across the face of goal while Brown did well to deny Howe at his near post 10 minutes after the restart.
Curtis then volleyed wide from Blinkhorn's lay-off while Bennett sent a long-range effort wide for Bury.
Substitute Danny Racchi and fit-again Andy Bishop were denied late on but Bury had done enough to claim another three points. Tweet
