Midfielder Lee Bullock has been allowed to extend his loan at Gigg Lane for another month, but will not play as his club Hartlepool do not want him cup-tied.
Defender Ben Futcher is suspended, but centre-half Paul Morgan should be fit.
And Casper is hoping to see his side get back to winning ways after their nine-match unbeaten run was ended at Rotherham on Tuesday.
"Now I have to set the lads more challenges to bounce back," he said.
"We will treat Workington with the utmost respect.
"It may not be a decent-sized squad, but it's a strong squad and it will give people a chance.
"This might be a chance to freshen things up."
