"I will stay positive," vowed the former United defender as boos rang round Gigg Lane after goals from Chester's Paul Butler and Mark Hughes had beaten his Shakers.
"As far as I'm concerned, I can look myself in the eye and know that I've worked as hard as I can work. The fans have voiced their opinion and they have the right to do so. We have proved we can get the results in the past and we have to prove that again."
Casper added: "We were undone by two bits of sloppy defending from set-pieces and the lads know that. There's no excuses but we need to get that steely look in our eyes again."
Do you think Casper can turn it around? Have your say. Tweet
