BURY are looking for their first pre-season victory tonight when they travel to non-league neighbours Radcliffe Borough.

Despite defeats by Altrincham and Everton, new defender Ben Futcher believes the Shakers are moving in the right direction. "It's been hard work so far," admits the former Lincoln centre-half. " But it's coming together."

Radcliffe's side is likely to include former Gigg Lane midfielder Lee Connell, recently signed from Prestwich Heys, and ex-Stockport favourite Mike Flynn, brought in from Stalybridge Celtic.
