CHRIS Casper believes there's enough confidence in his Bury side to end a 15-game winless streak with a victory over Notts County at Gigg Lane.

The Shakers are four points above the League Two relegation places but Casper feels that one win would be enough to turn around their season.

"Everyone looks for a bit of luck when you're in runs like this," said Casper. "We certainly didn't have it last week so let's hope we get it on Saturday.

"We could have had that win against Macclesfield but the linesman awarded a penalty in the last minute which was a sickener.

"It's important that we get that win soon. There's confidence in this side and we've been working on a few things during the week that could help us.

"Notts County are on a similar run to us so we know it's going to be a tough game."

Meanwhile, Crewe Alexandra central defender Darren Kempson will stay on loan at Gigg Lane for the rest of the season.
