Bolton Wanderers

Preview: Bolton v Charlton

BOLTON are hopeful that defender Tal Ben Haim will be available for selection for the Premiership clash with Charlton at the Reebok Stadium.

Ben Haim, still strongly linked with a move to Chelsea before the transfer window closes, sat out Sunday's FA Cup fourth- round draw at Arsenal with an apparent calf injury.

Bolton are again without striker El-Hadji Diouf through suspension, along with long-term injury absentees Joey O'Brien and Quinton Fortune.

Charlton could have midfielder Andy Reid fit again following his hamstring problem.

New signing Madjid Bougherra, the Algerian international defender, could go straight into the squad following his é2.5million move from Sheffield Wednesday as could Alexandre Song, who has joined on loan until the end of the season from Arsenal.

Leading scorer Darren Bent and captain Luke Young are continuing their recovery from respective knee problems, but are unlikely to be rushed back too early.

Last season: Bolton 4 Charlton 1

Key opponent: Alexandre Song - He might not get on, but if he does he could do damage

Will be interesting to see if Haim starts if he signs for Chelsea this afternoon.
