JAY-JAY Okocha is planning to walk away from football when he retires from the game.
Bolton's gifted playmaker intends to look at other opportunities after he quits.
Okocha, 32, said: "I have no plans to go into coaching, no, not at the moment.
"There will be so many exciting other things to do when I retire.
Future
"I have been in football all my life so I would like to try something else."
Not that Okocha is ready to call it a day just yet. The former Nigeria captain's immediate future is unclear as he is out of contract in the summer.
Okocha has been linked with a move away from the Reebok Stadium and could pitch up in Qatar next season.
He added: "I believe I can still play at a high level for another two or three years if I can steer clear of injury.
"For the moment, though, my priority is finishing the season well and trying to get Bolton back into Europe."

No way!!! Tell him I say so! He decided to take the path of stardom, hence he must listen to over 100 million fans back home. Once he retires; he is going to assist in checking the entire Ajegunle, Surulere, Enugu, PH, Jos, Ibadan, Agege etc (all in nigeria)in order to discover over 3 million young, magical and talented players in the mould of Jay Jay, Mikel Obi, Ronaldhino, Kanu, etc. But leaving football entirely, no way! That will be too much of a waste! Nigerian cannot afford such luxury.
There aren't many players throughout the years who even come close to the technical ability which Jay Jay has. His reading of the game is second to none, his vision and awareness is outstanding and he can ridicule the best defenders in the world without breaking sweat. Jay Jay must pass on his knowledge to the younger generation whether it's in this country or in his homeland. Jay Jay is one of football's greatest ever players and it would be a waste if he left the game completely.
