STELIOS Giannakopoulos claims he is "fully committed" to Bolton
after reports from Greece quoted him as saying he "would give
everything" to join Liverpool. The 31-year-old Greece international
attracted interest from the Reds last summer before signing a new
three-year deal with Wanderers. But reports from his homeland On
Monday quoted him as saying: "I would give everything to go to
Liverpool. That's my dream. Not only to go to Liverpool but, in
general, to go to a bigger team. "Then I would say that I have
reached the peak of my career." However, Giannakopoulos told
Bolton's official website: "I have aspirations of playing in Europe
again with Bolton Wanderers and I am fully committed in helping
them to qualify this season. "I signed a three-year deal early in
this season and I want to achieve great success with the club
during that period."

Dating a Greek girl and getting to know some of the Greek community, I have learned that they gossip a lot and most of slightly exaggerated. However there is always some truth in their rumours, having learned to decipher Greek rumours, Stelios probably said he would like to play for teams like Liverpool and that he is looking to play at the next level. I'm a City fans, and we have lot of this nonsense going around with our players, he's a good player, hope he plays out his full contract.
