Bolton Wanderers

Preview: West Ham v Bolton

BOLTON trio El-Hadji Diouf, Bruno N'Gotty and Abdoulaye Faye could all come into contention for the FA Cup replay against West Ham.

Diouf (hernia) and N'Gotty (ankle) missed the 4-1 defeat of the Hammers in the Barclays Premiership because of injury while Faye was ruled out with a virus.

Henrik Pedersen is pushing for a place in the starting line-up after scoring his first goal of the season at the weekend.

Alan Pardew will revert back to West Ham's tried-and-trusted line-up for the Upton Park clash.

Pardew experimented at the weekend and West Ham crashed to a 4-1 Barclays Premiership defeat to Wanderers - but Anton Ferdinand is set to move from midfield back into the heart of West Ham's defence, while rested trio Yossi Benayoun, Dean Ashton and Marlon Harewood are all in line to start.

Captain Nigel Reo-Coker has returned to training and is available in midfield after shaking off the effects of a bug.

West Ham United (from): Hislop, Bywater, Scaloni, Dailly, Gabbidon, Ferdinand, Ward, Collins, Konchesky, Reo-Coker, Benayoun, Newton, Mullins, Etherington, Ashton, Sheringham, Harewood, Zamora, Katan.

It should be a closer match than on Saturday, but I think that Bolton greater experience will decide it 2-1 in our favour

All those WH fans who think you are going to win by a big margin, are as deluded as the City fan, who thought they were going to win by several goals at the Reebok.

May I remind you that you have lost three and drawn only once agains Bolton this season. Scoring a magnificent 2 goals and conceeding 7.

The only reason the City fan wants you to win is because he is scared of us, and knows that you will be much easier to beat.

Although West Ham rested Ashton & Bennayoun (1st half) on Saturday, and played Ferdinand in midfield, this does not alter the fact that Bolton will win tonight, comfortably. By teh way, Bolton were missing 3 key players on Saturday, but with Jay Jay and the lads playing out of their skin at the moment I'm afraid the Cockneys will be put to the sword once again by the Trotters. Oh I recall with fond memories watching them cry at the Reebok a few years ago....... I can't wait for the QF at our local rivals City, who put in a great performance last night, especially the new lads who I haven't seen much of this season. Let's just hope the QF isn't televised as that will guarantee a full house!
