Allardyce was unhappy that Gerrard and Sissoko were not punished after alleging the pair had stamped on his players in two separate incidents during the 2-2 draw at the Reebok on Monday.
However, referee Mark Clattenburg has confirmed in his match report that he saw both Gerrard's clash with Kevin Nolan and Sissoko's tackle on El-Hadji Diouf.
Under FIFA rules, the FA cannot take retrospective action against players using video evidence if the match official witnessed the incident at the time,
The ruling has not appeased Allardyce, however, and he said: "Our procedure has to be seriously flawed. I have to find out all the reasons why neither player has been punished."
Gerrard has also been cleared of blame by Nolan himself, who dismissed the alleged stamping as merely an accident.
However, Allardyce refused to take that view on board, stating: "I think Kevin has a clouded view of this because Steven Gerrard is a friend.
"Because he has defended him it does not make what Gerrard did right. For me, it was still a bad foul and the intent was there," quotes The Sun.

As for Nolan's submissive & pitiful comments about "I wouldn't hurt a fellow Scouser" Gerrard, well the weakling should be stripped of the captaincy for embarrassing Sam.
Seems like Nolan's loyalty is more towards Liverpool than Bolton.

If Bolton lose or draw it's generally the referee's fault. Of the two incidents I think the Sissoko one was probably the worst, the Gerrard one looks worse in slow motion but, imo, did not intentionally stamp on Nolan.
It's funny but when they lost the cup final to Boro he was moaning about the guy who took the penalty and hit it twice. As if he hadn't viewed the video and had seen it all by himself from the touchline. Sam has more double standards than any other manager in the league, his team play kick and boot football with plenty of physical play involved. He should ask a few of his fellow managers what they think of some of Kevin Davies's tackling, or perhaps his Bolton coloured glasses don't notice that from the touchline.
Grow up Sam and learn a bit from a new manager just down the road from you, who's been schooled in the art of management by the best, never moans about referee's decisions, and just gets on with the game.
