So says former Irish international Andy O'Brien (above), who is relishing the prospect of tackling `Big Phil's' team and Wanderers' old boy Nicolas Anelka.
Chelsea have won all seven of their Premier League away games this season - and on their last five trips to the Reebok they've gained the maximum 15 points.
However, Bolton are on a roll after back-to-back successes at Middlesbrough and Hull City.
They also held the Blues at Stamford Bridge on the final game of last term thanks to a late Matty Taylor equaliser.
"We go into the game full of confidence," says the former Bradford, Newcastle and Portsmouth centre half.
"I felt it was important to get six points out of the last two games and we've managed to do that.
"We've got a home game coming up against a good team but we are going into it in a confident mood."
The manager has stressed that we have got to be looking at the teams above us and not below us. We've had some good results recently and we need to maintain that form against Chelsea."
Indeed, boss Gary Megson is in the running to become November's Premier League manager of the month after taking 12 out of a possible 15 points.
Wanderers are suddenly challenging for a European place but have slipped up already against Chelsea's title rivals Liverpool and United.
"We've got a good record at home, we are difficult to play against and so we are all looking forward to the game," adds O'Brien.
And he hopes Taylor will have recovered from the thigh strain that forced him off at half-time at Sunderland.
"Matty has proved in his career that if he plays a full season then he is good to get you between eight and ten goals."
The form of O'Brien and Gary Cahill has left Danny Shittu short of games since arrival from Watford.
Megson has now been linked with Sheffield Wednesday youngster Mark Beevers.
