Bolton Wanderers

Preview: Bolton v Blackburn

STRIKER Kevin Davies is set to lead the line for Bolton in Sunday's home clash against Blackburn after the departure of top scorer Nicolas Anelka.

Davies is available again following a one-match ban and Anelka's big-money move to Chelsea has opened the door for Davies to return to his favoured centre-forward role after spending most of the season in a wide position.

Nicky Hunt missed the last two league matches with a foot injury but will retain his place in defence after coming through last week's FA Cup defeat by Sheffield United.

Roque Santa Cruz is set to return for Blackburn on Sunday to ease the club’s injury problems.

The Paraguay forward has not trained this week due to a groin problem, but should be in contention for the trip.

Tugay (groin) and Jason Roberts (foot) are out and Aaron Mokoena is on African Nations Cup duty, but David Dunn, Steven Reid and Andre Ooijer could all return after missing the FA Cup defeat by Coventry last weekend.
