BOLTON pair El Hadji Diouf and Abdoulaye Meite have booked their spots in January's African Cup of Nations.

Diouf, who has been in outstanding form for Wanderers this season, netted for Senegal in a 5-1 victory over Burkina Faso.

And defender Meite helped Ivory Coast to a 0-0 draw against Gabon.

Both countries have now qualified for the tournament in Ghana from January 20 to February 10.

The pair could miss four Premier League games and a fourth round FA Cup tie.
