FORMER United assistant boss Archie Knox has joined Bolton's backroom staff.

Scotland Under-21 coach will work under Sammy Lee as coaching co-ordinator.

Knox joins the club with immediate effect and will work closely with Bolton boss Lee and his three first-team coaches, Gary Speed, Ricky Sbragia and Jimmy Phillips.
