Wanderers face opposition from Chivas (Mexico), Spain's Racing Santander and South Korea's Seongnam.
"The Peace Cup in Korea will be good for us," says the Wanderers skipper.
"We are travelling a long way so it will be tough. We did something similar a couple of seasons ago in Thailand for the FA Premier League Asia Trophy.
"It shows how far we have come as a football club when we get invited to play in tournaments like the Peace Cup."
Missed out
Wanderers have missed out on Sheffield United's highly rated midfielder Phil Jagielka.
The Manchester-born star has signed for Everton in a £4m deal.
Bolton fans have until tomorrow to apply for their season ticket with an early purchase discount.
Wanderers were the first club to announce a price reduction in their season tickets for next season, offering a minimum reduction of 10 per cent off last season's prices.
A further 10 per cent can be saved if season tickets are purchased on or before the early purchase deadline.
