HERE are the Bolton player ratings following their 3-1 defeat at Upton Park to West Ham:
7 Jaaskelainen - Couldnt do anything with West Ham goals but did prevent a Tevez hat-trick as Wanderers disintegrated.
5 Campo - Poor control by the Spaniard in the build up to the Hammers third goal; symptomatic of his recent displays.
6 Meite - Another error by the former Marseille defender. His foul saw Carlos Tevez curl in West Hams opener.
6 Michalik - With Tal Ben Haim on his way out, the Slovak was given another chance to impress. Not the easiest of matches to show his best form.
6 Gardner - Steady enough display by the Jamaican but still not the force he once was.
5 Thompson - Given a chance to earn a new contract for next season but will be sweating on Sammy Lees decision after this display.
7 Speed - A contender for player of the season. May have stepped up to management now but still has a contribution to make as a midfielder.
5 Andranik - Overran by the rampant Hammers midfield and no surprise when substituted midway through second half.
5 Nolan - Returned from injury but after this result may have wished hed not come back so soon.
6 Davies - Being tipped for England B honours later this month. Worked as hard as usual but without much reward.
5 Anelka - One great effort brilliantly saved by Robert Green in the second half. However, he flitted in and out of the game as is his want.
Subs:
Walker - not used
5 Stelios (76 for Gardner) - Came on with the game already over and did little to change the course of the contest.
5 Vaz Te (65 for Andranik) - Didnt strike fear into the home defence when given a run for the last 25 minutes.
Tal - Not used
5 Sinclair (58 for Thompson) - The youngster was given some invaluable experience by the new boss and didnt let the team down.
What do you think? Have your say.
