MICHAEL Klinger, Walkden's new Aussie pro, created a piece of history by completing a century while having his tea last week. He went in at the break against Bradshaw unbeaten on 96, but a scorebook check revealed a missing boundary.

Title favourites Walkden are expecting big things of Klinger, who faces a tough test at Horwich tomorrow before Sunday's home date with Eagley. Greenmount hope to build on an opening day win over champions Tonge at home to Westhoughton tomorrow and then are away to Egerton.
