WORSLEY are hoping that the promising form shown by young Andrew Watson on the opening day of the season will pay off on Saturday when they visit Orrell RT in division one of the Littlewoods Gaming Liverpool Competition.

Andrew, who hit 57 against Southport, has missed the last two games due to football commitments with Northwich Vics.

Relegated Worsley are bottom of the table, but skipper Naill Howarth is hoping for a change in fortunes.

Leigh, runners-up last season, open their ECB Premier League campaign at home to Northop Hall.
